Here at Nueva Tú, we believe there's a multifaceted approach to overall wellness. Our goal is to work on the physical domain of wellness. We provide assessments, motivation, education, and utilize health behavior interventions to support individuals while they work towards their health and fitness goals. Our services include, but aren't limited to personal training, nutrition coaching, and health coaching. We work collaboratively with healthcare professionals when applicable and our ultimate goal is to ensure safe and effective programs for all our clients.

My true love for health and fitness emerged in my 20's. Then as the years went by my passion grew and before I knew it finding healthier ways and striving to feel better each day became second nature and soon defined who I was down to my core. As I was nearing my 40's I met a special person (now my husband) who inspired and encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passions-So I did!
After that decision was made, it's been a whirlwind of events ever since. And when I stop myself to look back, it's mostly in appreciation and wonderment.
Now, I'm fulfilling my dreams. My passion is overall wellbeing and I wish to guide, help and inspire others to work towards and achieve their health and fitness goals.
My education and experiences are unique. Going back to school in my 40's was very different and certainly posed some challenges. I was fortunate to land my first training job at the University of Delaware and found that my age was quite an asset there as many students wanted to train with me and not their peers. Who would've thought!?! So I started training healthy individuals at the University while I was doing my undergraduate program and through my masters program and clinical experience, I was fortunate to work with more diverse and unique clinical populations including patients in cardiac, pulmonary, renal, oncology, and Parkinson's disease rehabilitation settings.
I have a BS in Behavioral Health and Nutrition from the University of Delaware, a Strength and Conditioning Minor, and a MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware coupled with an ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification.
Additionally, I am ACLS and BLS certified, I hold an ACSM Exercise is Medicine® (EIM) Credential Level-III, I am an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, and a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach. I also hold several other group fitness certifications, which includes barre and spinning.
